The manufactures of the home refueling compartments are working on creating a solution, but there are obstacles to creating actual refueling stations.

While gas station may be nervous about the trend of social media allowing people to generate lowest price blogs and low cost station finders, they are not going to be as friendly to electric station finders. Social media will allow car owners to communicate with one another about the availability of stations and keep them on the road longer without turning to the gas fuel. This is troubling for gasoline sellers if the social media sweeps the hybrid and electric car market making stations easier to find.
